Mid-size SUVs are a preferred vehicle because they are just large enough to offer plenty of space for passengers and cargo, but not so large that handling them can be unwieldy. One of the best mid-size SUVs this year is the 2024 VW Atlas at your VW dealer.

This year’s VW Atlas is more innovative, stylish, and technologically capable than ever before. There are six trim levels to choose from this year, ranging from the base SE model to the highest model, the SEL Premium R-Line. Each Atlas model has a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, along with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Drivers can choose front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

SE

Highlights of the SE trim include 18-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires, adaptive front lighting with dynamic cornering lights, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED taillights. This trim also has three-zone automatic climate control, rain-sensing front wipers, heated front seats, 60/40 split-folding second-row seats, and 50/50 split-folding third-row seats as standard features.

SE With Technology

This trim level has 20-inch alloy wheels, a front grille with an integrated lightbar, remote start, and six USB-C charging ports as standard features. This SUV has heated, foldable, and power-adjustable side mirrors and a hands-free power rear liftgate. A trailer hitch and black roof rails are also standard features for this trim.

Peak Edition SE With Technology

The Peak Edition trim has special Peak Edition bumpers, black mirror caps, and unique details, such as Peak Edition interior styling with V-Tex leatherette upholstery. This trim comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, all-terrain tires, a power-tilting and sliding panoramic sunroof, and multicolor adjustable ambient lighting. Special technology features include park distance control for the front and rear.

SEL

The SEL trim has 20-inch alloy wheels, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, driver side memory seats, and a HUD. Other key features include poor weather lights, silver roof rails, heated first and second-row seats, ventilated front seats, and three-zone automatic climate control. This trim also has keyless access for all doors and the liftgate.

Peak Edition SEL

The Peak Edition SEL builds on the previous trim with 18-inch alloy wheels, all-terrain tires, and exclusive Peak Edition styling. Some key features for this trim include a 12-inch touchscreen navigation system, drive mode selection, and a rearview camera system.

SEL Premium R-Line

The final trim has 21-inch wheels and exclusive R-Line styling, such as perforated Vienna leather upholstery. This trim has standard features such as adaptive cruise control, dynamic road sign display, and a premium audio system.

The Atlas is filled with features to love across all trim levels. Book a test drive of your favorite Atlas model today at Dean Team Volkswagen of Ballwin.
