The Volkswagen Jetta has been a flagship model for the automobile brand for years thanks to its flexibility and spaciousness. Like previous models, the 2023 VW Jetta is full of character, spunky performance, and thoughtful convenience features.

The 2023 Jetta has four trim levels, each with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, generating 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. Each trim has a standard front-wheel-drive drivetrain and an eight-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic, although the S and Sport trims are also available with a six-speed manual transmission.

For safety and driver assistance, technology such as a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, front assist, rear traffic alert, and hill hold control are standard across all trim levels.

S

The base S trim comes with 16-inch two-tone machined alloy wheels with all-season tires, as well as standard exterior features like LED daytime running lights, automatic headlights with a “Coming Home/Leaving Home” feature, and heated power-adjustable side mirrors. The S trim has a tilting and telescoping adjustable steering column, a manually adjustable driver’s and front passenger’s seat, and a three-passenger rear seat with a 60/40 split folding capacity.

Sport

The Sport trim is equipped with special sporty features, such as 17-inch two-tone machined alloy wheels with all-season tires, front accent lights, black side mirror caps, and Sport badging on the front fenders. The Sport trim has a multi-functional steering wheel with controls for the display, telephone, and audio. This trim also supports Bluetooth connectivity with compatible devices.

SE

The SE trim has 17-inch twin five-spoke silver painted alloy wheels and all-season tires, a leather-trimmed shifter, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and V-Tex leatherette seating surfaces. Push-button start, an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, and automatic front wipers with a rain sensor are also standard.

SEL

The top trim level has 17-inch two-tone machined alloy wheels with all-season tires, front accent lights, side mirror caps with integrated turn signals, and a power tilting and sliding panoramic sunroof with a retractable shade and wind deflector. The SEL trim also comes with actively ventilated front seats, heated rear seats with separate controls, and 10-color adjustable ambient interior lighting.

Interior and Exterior Colors

For the S and Sport trim levels, standard body color options are Deep Black Pearl, Pure White, Pyrite Silver Metallic, Platinum Gray Metallic, and Rising Blue Metallic. The S trim has cloth seating in Titan Black or Storm Gray, while the Sport trim only has cloth seating in Titan Black.
