A VW service is performed by VW-trained technicians using VW-approved parts. Regular services enable your VW to perform at its best and reduce or prevent future repairs. As your VW dealer, we want to tell you about some of the services we provide.

Oil Changes
Oil is essential for your engine, as it lubricates all moving components. This lubrication allows them to work smoothly and efficiently while preventing friction damage. Additives inside the oil prevent engine blockages and also stop rust. In addition, the oil movement helps to cool the fast-moving components which reduces the engine temperature.
Over time oil becomes thicker and slower as it absorbs dirt and other minute debris in the engine. The slower oil becomes less efficient, and this will increase wear and tear on engine components. On average, the oil needs replacement every 10,000 miles. We drain the old oil, replace the oil filter, and seal the sump where the oil is stored. We then refill the oil, and you’ll feel the increase in performance.
Coolant Leak Repairs
Coolant is pumped through your engine and absorbs heat radiating from the fast-moving components. The heat is then locked inside the coolant and transported to the radiator, where it’s removed by heat exchange. The coolant is under high pressure, and a tiny leak can lead to a rapid loss of coolant. As your engine loses coolant, the temperature will rise, and this can result in engine damage.
The coolant can leak from damaged seals, a worn radiator cap, a rusted radiator, or a hole in a radiator hose. A leak is easy to spot as the coolant is pink, green, yellow, blue, or other bright colors. We advise against driving if you have a coolant leak, as your engine can overheat. Our technicians will find and repair the leak and then refill the coolant.
Brake Pad Replacement
Brake pads provide the friction that slows and stops your wheels. They fit into the calipers and are forced against the spinning wheel rotors when you hit the brakes. The friction material on the pads reacts with the smooth rotors within seconds to bring your VW to a halt. As time passes, the material covering wears down, and the pads need replacement.
The pads have a built-in warning to remind you to change them. Once the pad’s material drops to 1/4″ thickness, a metal spike buried in the pad will become visible and scratch against the rotor. This produces a screeching noise until the pad is replaced. We can replace the pads very quickly, and you’ll feel an immediate improvement in your brake’s responsiveness.
