Volkswagen Jetta Trim Levels
As Volkswagen overhauled the Jetta in 2022, the new model year has few changes, with only minor cosmetic changes and remote start capability for the SE trim. This four-door, compact sedan has four trims: the S, Sport, SE, and SEL. The base S trim is an affordable entry-level sedan with a unique style, roomy interior, the latest tech, and standard safety features. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, but an eight-speed automatic is readily available. Every Jetta features VW's digital cockpit with a standard eight-inch display.
Advanced Features
The Sport trim offers unique 17-inch wheels, black interior and exterior accents, and the XDS Cross Differential System for performance traction and cornering. The SE provides standard automatic transmission, a six-way power-adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and rain-sensing wipers. This trim also has an IQ.Drive, Volkswagen's full suite of driver-aid technologies, and a semi-autonomous driving system.
The top SEL trim adds a sunroof, leather upholstery, ventilated seats, Digital Cockpit Pro, and an eight-speaker audio system.
Performance
The Jetta comes equipped with a single engine, a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder power plant producing 158 hp and 184 pound-feet of torque, giving this sedan quick acceleration. Steering is light, and the overall ride is quiet and comfortable. Models with the XDS Cross Differential System get even more precise handling through turns.
Exterior & Interior Style
The exterior features lean, sleek, and sensible lines characteristic of today’s European cars. Buyers will get LED exterior lights, including daytime running lights, that allow other drivers to see them more easily. Although the Jetta may be a compact vehicle, its interior is roomy, with plenty of legroom in the back seat.
